Facilities
The practice offers modern, air conditioned and comfortable facilities; in a calm and welcoming environment on the ground and first floors. We particularly welcome patients who are anxious and offer special care to help them receive dental treatment.
We keep all patients’ records in locked cabinets; we as a practice are unable to disclose any information regarding a patient and their treatment without permission of the patient in question.
Our continued aim is to provide quality dental care, in a relaxed, friendly and caring environment. There has been a dental practice established here for over 50 years. Dr Logue has owned the practice for over 30 years.
Treatments
We offer a full range of dental services from routine fillings and hygienist services to specialist & cosmetic treatments.
We have a particular interest in progressive and cosmetic dentistry to improve you smile. We offer the latest tooth coloured filling materials, metal free crowns, veneers and whitening.
To replace missing teeth we will take the time to explain all your options; this may include minimal preparation bridges, implants, dentures and flexible dentures.
A Preventative Approach
We offer preventative dental care for the whole family. We have a partnership approach to care at the practice and there will always be time to ask questions about the treatment or any other aspect of care. We also offer Hygienist services, following referral from the Dentist. However, should you wish, this treatment can be carried out by your Dentist.
Emergency Care
Our practice policy is that we will try to see all emergency patients the same day.
We understand that your dental emergency may not be toothache. We are happy to see you for cosmetic emergencies, chipped teeth, lost crowns and broken dentures.
Please phone us on 01322 220677. If you have a dental emergency, we will advise of a suitable time. Our reception is open from 8.30 am daily.
When the practice is closed, call and follow the instructions on answer machine.
Hours: 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9:30 am to 11.00 am and 7.00 pm – 10.30 pm Saturday/Sunday & Bank Holidays.
Terms and Conditions
NHS Dental Care
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can use the appointment for another patient on our waiting list. If you miss more than one appointment and give less than 48 hours’ notice, we may not be able to complete your treatment or offer you NHS care in the future.
Independent Dental Care
We accept that there are occasions when it becomes necessary to cancel an appointment at short notice. For patients who cancel their appointment without 48 hours’ notice we reserve the right to charge for the cancellation. Whilst we fully appreciate that no one comes to the Dentist when they are ill or suffering a severe emotional disturbance please ask a friend or relative to phone the surgery to let us know you will be unable to attend your appointment. There is an answer phone for out of hour calls. We feel that the circumstances in which it is not possible to let us know that an appointment cannot be kept are very few.
Patients must pay for all chargeable items received at that visit. Any treatment involving the provision of laboratory items e.g. crowns and bridges will require payment at the start of the treatment (with the exception of dentures, which can be paid in three instalments). In the event of late payment, we hold the right to add legal fees, debt collector charges and commission, and our own administrative costs.
